Friday March 1st, KB will be playing a special acoustic show at the Portland Public Library in downtown Portland, ME! This show will take place in the atrium of the library during First Friday Artwalk, so it’s sure to be a shindig! To make things extra special, Kurt will be playing songs from the Leftovers very first album “Mitton Street Special” all the way up to the latest record “Brand New Beat”, and telling the stories behind the songs! Just like on vh1! You don’t need cable for this one though! It’s free! 5:30-6:30 FRIDAY MARCH 1st @ THE PORTLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY!

We’ve just received super rad copies of the French release of “Brand New Beat” on Dirty Witch Records! The artwork is a little different, the CD’s are in a digi-pack and it comes with two Bonus tracks, including the never before released tune “Emma Stone”, which is about this one time I ran into Emma Stone in New York City but was too screwed up on a magical brownie to realize that I just ran into Emma Stone!

Just got back from a killer tour of Spain! What an incredible experience, so many good friends, fans and parties. A huge thanks to our Spanish label Torreznetes Entertainment for making it all happen!

Now it’s time to relax and enjoy the rest of 2012! It’s been an wonderful and exciting fun packed year. In honor of the holiday season, i’d like to present to you a special Christmas song titled “Christmas in the Sand”, which will appear on a special Japanese Christmas Compilation on Power Pop Academy records. This tune was written by Wyatt Funderburk and myself before leaving for Spain. Fingers Rodgers recorded it at his home studio, and Adam Cargin stopped by to play on it as well! We filmed the video at Geoff Useless and Jackie’s awesome Christmas party!
